Worst snow removal company ever! It snowed on Thursday morning, merit came out Thursday night and did a piss poor job. Plow truck went through the lot one time, and someone threw some salt out. Then they come back 2 days later at 6am to finish the job. Horrible experience. Couldn't get out because they didn't want to work. We pay them to clear the snow, get here and clear it.
I have worked for Merit for 3 months in NC and they have paid me on time and have been excellent to work for and with. Since there are so many negative reviews I wanted to post something positive. I own and operate a lawncare company.
The past is the past.... For sure mistakes were made under prior leadership with jaded agendas in pursuit of the "managed services" aggregator gold-rush, or lack there of. Lots of bumps and bruises... all deserved... Under the new leadership team, Merit has been making huge strides in a positive direction both internally and with service execution. Employee morale is now super high. Client goals and satisfaction are a core focus and has shown measurable results. And subcontractors are heard, and valued more then ever before. I could not be more optimistic and proud of Merit today.
