Staff was very friendly and helpful. The amount of time that it took to check-in was very short. Where I had a problem was when the Doctors that saw me did not use any sterile technique when taking care of the cuts on my hand . I told them that I was a nurse for 27 years and questioned them on the lack of sterile techniques and they looked surprised. Thankfully the wait time was short that day. Staff was quick and professional.
Went in via ambulance with a broken left ankle and broke 5th or 6th rib on the back left, they showed no empathy whatsoever. This is very disappointing because i had been admitted on two separate occasions mid to late last year and they were very in tune to my needs, but on this occasion they acted as though I was in the way barely interacting with me at all. I tripped while bringing in my large trash can. Fell hard, broke right wrist , cracked ribs, scraped knees, deep bruises v, pulled inside thigh muscle right leg. I was placed in a very small room with two chairs for about 2-3 hours. It was freezing in that room. I was probably there 5-6 hours total. Finally the CT tec got me a blanket. Never been treated like this at Wesley.
