I took my mom in to Emergency yesterday cause she had a lot of blood in her urine . Heres the treatment she got : 1. Put in a cubicle that was so cold it was ridiculous. The door was propped open by a chair . I removed the chair to sit down and the door closes shut. 2. She was yelling for a nurse to give her some blankets and no one came . Nurses were within 30 feet . I had to round up a nurse to bring some and it took forever... then she just tosses them on the bottom corner of the bed. 3. "SURPRISE PRICING" will really get you good here. I have good insurance so I look like a gold ticket and another vacation for the doctor apparently. When you have insurance they will charge you excessive amounts ($4000 for a bandage and x-rays when you hit your thumb with a hammer). I didn't have a job so I tried to go to their non-emergency department first but the doctor there was too stupid to determine the difference between needing a bandage or needing surgery so he said it was too much for him to handle so he sent me t... read more

I want to start by saying I have used Flowers Hospital for about 25 years but was very very disappointed with my husbands care in the emergency room. We waited in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours with my husband in severe pain. They were not that busy and we were told our wait would be 5 minutes to see triage nurse. It took an hour. Then we were told 20 minutes for physican, it took hour and a half. We watched the waiting room empty out completely twice with us still sitting there. I've been to other Orthopedics doctors and I will not go anywhere else. In my book they are the best
Not a very pleasant experience. Nurses in ER treat one as if just another number. ER Doctors cold, condescending with a terrible bedside manner. Would not recommend.
