Extremely slow customer service at the parts department. Seems they should hire another employee so the one that's on the phone for 15 minutes while I stand there waiting could assist and make the wait time shorter. Just a thought.
I set up an appointment for an EV recall several weeks in advance. Told I could have any time! After arriving at Merit for my 10am appointment, I was told they only have (2) EV technicians and they would not be able to start my car until approximately 12 noon and the work was expected to last about 1.5 hours. Purchased an Impala here, buying experience was decent like any other dealership trying to sell you something. I paid off my car early so I was due a gap refund, getting it has been the worst experience! I guess if you’re not buying something you don’t even get acknowledged. I have been coming to Merit for 25 years, the staff, how they treat me, and the quality of the work on my vehicle is nothing short of fantastic. In fact I am a current GMC owner, but bring my Yukon XL Denali to Merit rather than a GMC dealer due to how much I trust Merit.
