My therapist recommended me to this place when I indicated a likely need for a psychiatrist. I called and waited five days for a call back. They set me up with an appt more than a month away and today the doctor just called to cancel. Dr. Sawa made it abundantly clear she didn't care that I had already waited a month for the appt and did not express any interest in knowing whether I would have to wait another month for another appt. I rarely post such reviews, but Meridian deserves this exception. I have been a patient for over twenty years under the same MD psychiatrist and PhD therapist for a reason— they think outside of the box and have strategized helping me with some fairly substantial life challenges. Meridian has similarly helped family members (different practitioners, same practice) and we are incredibly grateful for, and indebted to, the work of this team. I wholeheartedly recommend Meridian without hesitation or qualification(s).

I feel that my doctor kept moving the goal for treatment - constantly jumping through hoops and told to do something new. My doctor referred for neuropsych testing - I did it and was diagnosed with ADHD. Recommended for meds. My doctor refused to treat - suggested things would get better when my kids went back to school. Very mean girl vibes - seemed very judgemental and could not control her face or reactions. Really unsupportive about the help.

Good phone communication for setting up in person or on phone sessions . My therapist has been a great help in grief therapy
