It’s very dirty and horribly taken care of. The elevator rarely works which makes it impossible to move in or out. Nothing has been updated in this building for several years.
I would NOT recommend living here. First off the Meridian bribes people with money and prizes to write good reviews on this page. I lived here for a year and a half and it was a terrible experience. They will try to get you to resign your lease by saying you won’t have to move your stuff. However this is just another lie. I had to fight with the office to keep my apartment for the next year. Good place to live. Apartment was clean and well-maintained on move in day.
I've lived here for 2 years. Living here again next year for a 3rd. In my opinion best apartment in state college when looking for a place with a ton of space very close to campus for a decent price.
The Meridian is a great place to live during any year of your college career! We renewed for next year already because our experience has been great. Any time we need something fixed (garbage disposals are tricky) we submit a maintenance request and they fix it so quickly with no questions asked (even though we've messed it up several times now�)! Everyone should live here if they are given the opportunity �
Overall great place to stay for Penn State students. Close to campus, ample living space for multiple roommates, accommodating staff, and ample amenities to make sure you have a comfortable time. I️'d highly recommend the Meridian to any new students!
For the amount of space, amenities (free highnspeed internet), and furnishing, its an unbeatable price. Glad I made the choice to live here.
The Meridian is a great place to live! The apartments come fully furnished and the rooms are huge compared to other apartments downtown. I live with four other girls and we have have two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. They are pretty fast to sending maintenance up to help you when you have any issues. It's fun during football season they often have music playing and free food you can grab on your way up to the stadium!
