Went to Dr. Small in 2005. Had a minimal hydrocodone addiction. Had a c-section 5/05 and 3 months later after receiving hydrocodone for 3 months, I was completely depended on it. I was taking 4-6, 7.5 lortabs a day. Off the bat, Dr. Small started me on 28 mg of suboxone and continued this for 15 years. I wanted off and was always told “you’re not ready” or “some people will be on this forever” after he told me at the first visit in 05 that this was a temporary drug used for a few months.
