Lived there for 3 years. The building was maintained well, safety checks always done on time, maintenance issues dealt with promptly, and it was cleaned regularly. Interactions with Capreit staff was pleasant. Get the underground parking, street parking can be limited. Gym is has most of what you need.
So tried for a few years here and there to rent. Nice apartment absolutely crappy management as they don't call you back when you fill out application if you are on cpp disability pension. Like that's the only reason they won't rent to us. Not only do we have disabilities they are discriminating with regards to that. We have lived where we are for over 2.5 years and our management is happy with us. The only reason we want to move is I have a bad back and would like insuite laundry and no stairs in my suite. The management team has been fantastic from showing the various apartments available to any repair needed (touch up paint to door gasket). Petra who is our property manager reviewing the property, landscaping and repairs needed… Right on top of everything! Neighbors are also very good people and pets.
Location and quality of building are great. Amenities are worthwhile and answers are quick if reached out to.
