I hired Greg for a home inspection on a 1930's house we were buying, his report was incredibly detailed with lots of excellent hi-resolution pictures. Everything was explained in simple terms which really helped in putting together a list of work that needed to be done. The software he presented the report in was very intuitive and made it simple to forward key sections to get quotes from contractors. I would highly recommend Greg for all you home inspection needs.

Using Greg was the best decision my wife and I made while we were searching for a home. As any Asheville home buyer will tell you, the market is insane. Stellar service!. Inspector was responsive, friendly and extremely thorough. Report (verbal summary given at conclusion of physical inspection) and final written version demonstrated inspector's attention to detail and high level of knowledge.

Greg Peterson is the real deal. I have owned many homes over the years, and he provided the most thorough, knowledgeable home inspection ever. He inspected a 90+ yr old home for me, and his work was invaluable. On top of that, he is personable and very responsive. He receives my highest recommendation, and I am a tough critic!

We hired Meridian for a house in Arden that was newly flipped by first timers and it still needed a HUGE amount of work. Greg showed up on time and did a thorough and thoughtful inspection and helped to identify big safety electrical issues as well as moisture management, issues with a new shower door and badly installed new pan, foundation and structural work on a deck and many more key items.
