Extremely bad area. They make the complex look nice and have a friendly face until you move in. We've had multiple car break ins. Instead of getting cameras and helping the residents they hire an aggressive security company to prey on the tenants with ineffectual spot checks of the complex. The management here does NOT care.
If you are trying to rent here, DON'T! At night there is absolutely zero parking. And unlike other apartment complexes, there is no where you can park nearby that isn't getting you towed. Meridian Garden's response to this is to tow anybody parked even slightly in the wrong area. When spoken to the brown haired woman at the front desk laughed at us and the $500 fee. On top of that the covered parking is so small you can't even fit in the spot. If you own a car, I suggest you don't live here.
Decent apartments, great caretaker, great assistant manager but the main manger is a villain. Be prepared for the unexpected changes in rent.. they use a market value/demand to decide rent amount when your lease is up. You will not be valued as an existing customer if they can get more money from a new customer. Overall 3/5.
I've been a resident of these apartments for 2 years. They call it a Community, but it's hardly one. In 2 years, I got to know only the neighbors in my immediate surroundings. The office manager only appears to be nice. Don't be naive. The office personnel is never on your side. They would argue with you for hours while treating you like some kinda inmate.
