Everyone I encountered except the receptionist with the money piece haircut (I wish I would’ve gotten her name—she is incredible) was extremely rude and dismissive. I understand in the beginning there is not much they can say as the screening process is happening, but in a moment of crisis, you would think the employees at a place like this would show some humanity or common decency. This place is incredibly traumatizing and I was misdiagnosed and put on the wrong medication. They refused to reach out to my actual psychiatrist and forcibly injected me with medication that had adverse effects on me. While I understand the importance of detoxing patients in a monitored environment, as a mental health professional, I wouldn’t recommend Meridian to anyone and would advocate strongly for this place to be shut down. Worst place ever to go for help. The staff is rude and verbally abusive. God bless anyone that has to go through this facility. The whole staff needs to be fired. It was a sickening disgusting place and should be shut down.
