Absolutely wonderful staff. Genuinely treated with a human kindness instead of the traditional “corporate” feel of other banks
At 40 years old -dealing with Banks since i was 16 - hands down worst bank experience ever. maybe it is this branch- but just a bunch of bozos. Emailed my ' designated branch manager ', - if my mortgage renewal rate could be negotiated or if there is any room for a better rate as a continued customer, and AFTER 4 DAYS, all she does is send me an email - that had been copied and pasted, off their website, with Meridian's Current mortgage rates. Pros, great interest rates, opportunities to invest, low service charges. Cons. I've owned property for over 20 years, never missed a payment, high credit score and although I've tried for that much time to get a mortgage from Meridian I could never qualify, although I am self employed I shouldn't be treated like a I have some sort of communicable disease. Self Employed are people too just the same as someone employed by a company. My last experience this June 2024 was a complete disaster, I had to call every few days before... read more
