Do not move here recently had the displeasure of staying at Meridian at Eisenhower apartments, and it was a complete nightmare. First off, the prices they charge are utterly outrageous considering the dismal conditions you have to endure. The hallways are constantly filled with the stench of smoke, making it unbearable to even walk through. And don't even get me started on the incessant noise from the nearby metro—it's like trying to sleep in the middle of a construction zone. But wait, it gets worse. Renter Beware I would not recommend this apartment complex. The evening concierge's are extremely rude and always act like you are inconveniencing them when picking up a package or when you ask a general question, zero customer service skills. The elevators are always broken, which have caused several residents to be stuck in them. The gym equipment needs to be maintanced to include the spinning bike, which is not even functional. The front office staff has no clue what they are doing and can't answer general questions. The ... read more

Not accommodating If you have a situation like a job transfer, the management is VERY inflexible. We went to the management for such a reason and tried to negotiate moving out prior to the lease term ending and were given attitude about how we can't move out and had to keep to the contract. Seemed to only care about squeezing money out of people.

BEWARE Save yourself the stress and live elsewhere. I'll include some of my grievances below. -The landlord commonly makes mistakes on the billing statement, Over the past 7 months, I've had 5 different amounts "due". The landlord will then realize their mistake and tape a rather large bill to your door with a due date of the following morning. If you don't pay the following morning, you owe a $100 late fee. Nice for the area, but you decide. These are considered "luxury" apartments. For the area they are decent with the types of amenities that will attract. It is a well maintained, clean building that is pet friendly without the pet odors. It's a short 3 minute walk from the Eisenhower Metro station which serves the Yellow line. There's a pool, a gym, a small club room, and a late night concierge. There's an AMC movie theatre in walking distance, some decent restaurants, and a dog park nearby.
