I visited Dr. Gerber at Meridia Medical in September 2025 for an IUD removal and insertion. It was my third IUD. The insertion and removal process was unlike any other that I’ve had - I felt next to nothing on account of local anesthetic being used to numb the cervix. Additionally, he conducted the ultrasound to check placement in the same appointment, which saved time for me. Absolute game changer. As far as getting an IUD insertion goes, this was a 10/10 experience. Dr.Gerber and his staff were empathetic, knowledgeable, and professional the whole time. The initial consult was informative and quick, and I was checked for a wide variety of things prior to booking the actual appointment, even having been measured to see which device fit best for me. I cannot say enough about how incredible Dr. Gerber and his team are, but I’ll do my best. Story time! Years ago, I had a traumatic experience with a new gynaecologist during an IUD replacement. There was zero pain management, I was yelled at for crying in agony, and when I expressed how unbearable it was, I was gaslit and dismissed. Best gynecologist ever. I am a forever for Dr. Gerber, Kelsey and team. My IUD insertion was pain less and easy. I would recommend to get your iud her and no where else. Dr. Gerber cares about his patients and want to help him in whatever way he can.
Great Experience, Dr Gerber and his team made my iud removal and insertion as painless as I could’ve imaged and they were such a caring and kind team!
