I was scared to enroll, at first, because of so many “scam artists” these days BUT Meredian stood by their word and helped me get out of debt much quicker! I am so happy thanks to meridian I am debt free first I was scared to trust them that they were able to bring my interest rate down to 1% which I was paying 24.9% of interest per month with Capital One Walmart credit card all my monthly payment was going towards the interest in my debt was growing they called me I enrolled in less than 2 years I was able to pay off $8,000 with payments that were on my budget and of course I send out extra payments cuz it was so easier knowing that most of my payment was going to what I owe.... read more

First of all, it felt like a scam, and I shouldn't have proceeded. Second I received a call in the first month, after they took nearly $700 from me to join the program to tell me they would have to wait and start the next month, so then I had to make my payments, and two ended up late. it also does affect your credit, and the creditors will close your accounts. The customer service at Meredian is spot on. I didn't believe they could reduce interest rates at low without messing up my credit but its true. The hardship program doesn't affect your credit nor relationship with your creditors :) Highly recommend them!

I was appreciative of the low interest rate I had with my credit card. I did not like that I had to subscribe to the American something (I don't remember the name). Thank you for helping me fix my credit.
