My wife is currently working with one of the Healthcare people there.When she first went there it was suggested to try Ozempic.My wife isn't amblitory,she was 1st diagnosed with MS in 1990.The importance of nutrition was never addressed She had no appetite nor desire to eat and shortly after starting ozempic she ended up in the ER with a UTI.Which no Ozempic wouldn't cause a UTI but having your imune system drained made her more suseptible.She had never had a UTI b4.When low blood sugars were addressed about wether to adjust... read more
Wendy Sanders is not empathetic or caring. I went to her for four years and I was just a number. she cut me off with no warning because I missed a few appointments. I had to fight to get new insulin refills and figure everything out when she could’ve just talked to me like a person!! I trusted her as my doctor and she abandoned me. It’s disheartening and sickening. She hides behind this nice lady act at first, but she truly does not care about you!!! She’s just there for the money gets you in and out she is not helpful. If I could give zero stars that's where they would be for customer experience. Stay away! My telehealth Doctor has been awesome and I'm making great progress since leaving Mercy Care Diabetes Center.
I would rate it lower if I could. After waiting 4 months to see her care provider, the clinic told us they'd need to reschedule my wife's appointment to August since we were 12 minutes late to the appointment due to the fact I had to carry her to the car and carry her into the building -- neither of which I expected we would need to do. When people talk about health care being broken, this is why. My wife can't walk and is wasting away, and no one at Mercy seems to care.
