I went to this establishment a month or so ago. A friend had to take me because I had such a high fever I began to black out left and right. After calling and making a account they got me in immediately. I was put on a IV and given Tylenol until my fever finally got down enough that I could talk and stay awake. The nurses were amazing, so was the doctor BUT after 7 tests... they had NO IDEA what I had. What a pathetic excuse for an urgent care facility! We were visiting Branson when my daughter fell and bumped her head. We simply wanted her to be looked over for any sign of concussion. After spending 30 minutes filling out paperwork and learning that even with insurance we had to pay up front, we were finally taken back. Went here as a recommendation. I had got a bad spider bite. The Dr I had was awesome. I was told I would have a 45 min to 1 hr wait and I would be it was not anymore than 20 mins from the time I walked in the door. I was sent to a phone to talk with a representative that neglected to inform me that I would have to pay after being seen. Since I had very little money I would of left this Urgent Care and went to ER. Another thing that bothers me is this is a place that deals with the Medical Field. Was visiting.. knew I had strep. Filled out paperwork. The nurse was rude... The nurse practitioner was even more rude. Did a strep test... Told me I had to wait till Monday to get the results. It was a Saturday..told her I would be home in Monday. She replied well don't know what to tell you. We will email results to you. I don't know what kind of strep test the were doing but I have always had results in just a few minutes. Never ever had to wait for 2 days for results. Don't waste your time.
After reading several of the reviews before choosing an Urgent Care Clinic my wife and I chose Mercy Urgent Care although there were several negative remarks. I read a lot of reviews of products and services through the years, I sometime wander if the two different reviews are of the same service or product. This is the case with Mercy Urgent Care.
