Outpatient lab has no system for prioritizing STAT labs. Showed up with my lab slip and was told to take a number and wait with everyone else, they wouldn't even look at the lab order to see that it was STAT. Honestly super concerning to me.

I get my blood drawn about 3 times a year. It has been pretty good for the most part. My most recent visit on February 18th wasn't the best. I always tell the person ahead of time that my veins don't always cooperate. The first attempt was very painful as I was saying owe several times. I knew she hit a nerve as I have had that happen a couple of tines before. She said that is what happens when you move your wrist. Slow….af they have a lady sitting at the front desk who does nothing but sit there whats the point? Just element the position… we waited 2 house to just pick up a test that has to be done at home… absolutely no need for this kind of wait just to pick up a bottle….. will never use mercy Labs again…
