Well i've read a few of the reviews and there was talk of difficult draws and that the waiting room was really crowded. On my last appointment my wife and i were surprised by an empty waiting room ! We went in, looked around and figured we were too late or not the right day or something. The nice lady associate spoke from behind the counter and we looked over. This place is different. You take a number. Similar to the DMV. At a medical facilty? Staff did well with blood draw and bedside manner.
Lots of people complaining about not getting "prioritized" or having to wait. The lab has zero control over the wait. Douglas county is full of senior citizens who flood the waiting rooms. Older people are also very difficult to draw, which slows the entire process. I get Labs once every 3 months. I go in wait patiently, get my blood drawn and leave. Its a basic system of first come first serve. Only time you jump the line is if its a time sensitive lab. Dont blame the hard working phlebotomist or staff. Its the sheer volume... read more
Second time I've had to leave without blood draw --- because waiting room is packed full.
Outpatient lab has no system for prioritizing STAT labs. Showed up with my lab slip and was told to take a number and wait with everyone else, they wouldn't even look at the lab order to see that it was STAT. Honestly super concerning to me.
