UPDATE: Surprise...not. Once again, I have received a bill that did not go through insurance. Last time, they tried to blame my doctor by saying she submitted the wrong account. So I asked her, and she showed me the copy she sends to them. It is indeed correct, it is the only one she has. This is in addition to the fact that I have told them this information AT LEAST FOUR TIMES in the last 8 months!! I do not understand how a hospital can be this incompetent. This place cannot get their billing figured out. Say they sent statements twice (to correct address on file) and I never get. Then they sent to collection. I was livid. We are DONE with this lab. Terrible terrible billing service. Avoid this unless you want to spend time on the phone sorting out the bills you never receive.
