Dr. Cathcart & all the staff are professional, caring people who are a credit to their profession. They take time with their patients (despite their busy schedules) and always answer questions and insure their patient understands their condition and treatment options. I have not met anyone who does not exhibit compassion and efficiency. I always feel my medical care is in good hands. I appreciate them all so much. Thank you!

Too many doctors today are set up as a revolving door of patients - they want you in so they can get the office visit fees and push pharmaceuticals instead of taking the time to diagnose and provide real treatment. I am happy to say that DR. Cathcart is not one of those doctors. I am a cancer patient. I live in Central Texas. I have family obligations that I need to handle in Colorado during the summer. I live in South Fork. I am so impressed with the oncology (breast cancer) department at Mercy Durango. The transition from my administration of my chemo from central Texas to Mercy was seamless. My lab orders were sent to Del Norte hospital so that we did not have to drive 90 miles to Durango just for labs.
