By Rachel Smith The Emergency Dept at Mercy in Mt Shasta deserves some serious recognition for the phenomenal care they provided yesterday afternoon. I stood by and watched a doctor, a surgeon, multiple nurses (including flight nurses), multiple CRNA’s, multiple respiratory therapists, x-ray techs, phlebotomists, ER staff, paramedics, a Chaplain, and even a security guard work diligently to take care of a baby girl. Sept 1 Severly broke my ankle at Hedge Creek Falls! From EMS to Mercy Medical Shasta, FANTASTIC caring people. I had pins and screws for surgery, Dr. Guthrie is the best and Dr Tim Brody (hope its right) in the ER, all the nurses a big hooray to you. CUSTOMER SERVICE ROCKS! I am a RN DNS at an Oregon facility! I know what matters most and you all are A ++. Thank you
I broke my foot and had to have a follow-up appointment. So since it was the weekend and I couldn't get to Mt Shasta during the week. I called before I drove there and asked them if I could have it checked out there. They said, they could and to come in. When I got there they said, they couldn't. So I'm complaining here because, "they should be more inform able over the phone." I called before I came in so I didn't waste my gas and make a wasted trip. Thank you for wasting my time and gas.
