This review is written based on an ER visit on March 22, 2026 and pertains to the ER staff working between 11:30-3 pm. What I saw: A waiting room filled with people experiencing their personal versions of trauma and a numbed ER staff largely devoid of humanity. I watched the blood draw nurse (Sara?) snap loudly, "I'm sorry to interrupt your snack" at a Black woman who was keeping to herself with a small bag from the vending machine. room twice over the weekend and found the experiences to be both unprofessional and concerning. While I was waiting for treatment for chronic back pain, I overheard medical staff engaging in inappropriate discussions about a nearby patient who appeared to have almost OD’d. This lack of professionalism raises serious questions about the hospital's commitment to patient confidentiality and respect. Their intolerable phone line is going to get some poor patient looking for care killed if it hasn't already. It cannot understand you, demands exact specifics without giving options, and hangs up on you if it can't hear you properly. Combine that with abysmal hold times and receptionists that will unintentionally hang up mid conversation and not call back, forcing you to fight your way through the whole process again, and you have just about the worst phone experience a person could have.
