My 6 month old daughter went in for her check-up and shots. I was concerned about allergies because she has been dealing with it for months on end. I asked if she could get a prescription, and the doctor made me feel stupid for asking. She was giving me and my mom the most dirty look for even asking. I would find somewhere else to take your kids. From the get go, the front desk is not helpful. You walk into a waiting area that is supposed to be divided for well and sick kids but it is not enforced by the staff and the patients roam the entire waiting area. My son went for a well visit and spent the next week running a fever and being sick after his appointment. The waiting time was over an hour before we were called back. Won't let us change our kids doctor, also asked for him to be added on my mymercy account and they also got his Medicaid information that day and they continued to bill the doctor visit to me and didn't even add his insurance on it, good thing I caught it in time because I never received any notice I owed anything and had to wait over 30 minutes on the phone to add his Medicaid and it still shows I owe an outstanding balance. I wanted to change my daughters doctor because I feel like I am being talked over and rushed when I have concerns about my child. I was told I could not change providers because of " curtesy". I moved from Baptist health to Mercy a year ago because of accessibility. But it seems I was mistaken.
