I have had several MRI's over the past years due to tumors and many health issues. The past experiences made me very anxious due to those bad experiences of dye mishaps, claustrophobia, and many other things My mom has had several MRI's done at this location. She recommended them. We arrived at my dad's imaging appointment at 2:45 PM, thinking we were on time. However, the clinic had left a voicemail saying to come in at 1:45 PM, which I missed. Nurse Rick informed us we couldn't proceed with the imaging. He offered only one of the two scheduled CT scans, because one of the CTs is not available after 2:30. My dad asked if we could reschedule the one we couldn’t do that day at a later date. The nurse it was not necessary, which I found frustrating because the oncologist ordered both for a reason. I have a MyMercy account that I pay all my bills through. The radiology consultants PC through mercy sent me to collections before sending me a bill. The collections company was the only one who told me I owed anything. After 5 phone calls that sent me in a circle I was informed the bill I saw on MyMercy was for the MRI. The collections bill that I never received, was from the radiologist, for the same MRI, and that is not sent through the mercy billing department so they would have no access to see it.
