Mercy Imaging Services - Edmond I-35

I checked Mercy I-35 imaging hours and it states in black and white that their hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. I arrived at 4:20pm on Wednesday afternoon (because you don’t have to have an appointment, just an order for a X-ray) and I was informed by the concierge that the x-ray tech leaves everyday at 4:15pm and it would be better for me to go to the main Mercy to get a X-ray. I had 3 MRIs in another state, and had a panic attack the first time, due to being clausterphobic. If you are nervous about getting a MRI like I am, rest easy because you will be ok! Amanda at Mercy North was knowledgeable and understood that I was nervous and claustrophobic. She made me comfortable with a pillow under my knees, a warm blanket, and gave me a washcloth for my eyes as well as earplugs, a panic button, and headphones to listen to my favorite music. I have had several MRI's over the past years due to tumors and many health issues. The past experiences made me very anxious due to those bad experiences of dye mishaps, claustrophobia, and many other things My mom has had several MRI's done at this location. She recommended them. I was extremely nervous. I had 2 MRI's back to back on 1/15/25. From the moment that I checked in, I had nothing but great care and support from the staff. The guy that did my MRI was very sweet.
