I visited Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO yesterday, for an MRI. We have never had a bad experience with this Hospital before. Yesterday was the exception. The staff in radiology were not welcoming at all! Carter, who checked us in, caused us to feel like he looked at us as an unwelcome intrusion in his day. When the MRI began, Sam, the woman operating the MRI machine, displayed not a drop of compassion. First, I would like to say I have always been happy with the care I have received from Mercy until tonight. I have CIDP which has chronic pain. I had a pain emergency this evening. It took three hours to even get me a bed. Then almost an hour before I even received treatment. Low dose of pain meds (I'm a 9 at this point). So I ask for more help. To which NPR A.
