My 77 year old female friend who has an extensive history of IBS was admitted on Saturday 10-21-2023 for severe gastritis. Today, Thursday 10-26-2023, she called her Gastroenterologist, whose office is there on campus, that she has been there since Saturday. They were audibly shocked. She had the call on speaker phone.
