She was my primary care doctor who would also do gynecological check ups. She began the exam by expressing how much more uncomfortable she was going to be during the exam than I was going to be. This was my first gynecological exam and I was already very uncomfortable. She was unaware of how the Plan B pill worked and questioned why I had taken it if I was not pregnant. I e been going to Dr Kang for 20 plus years. I have had nothing but good experiences with her. I went in with abdominal pain, after her examining she believed I had diverticulitis attack and sent me to a referral. She was spot on right. I have over the years gone in with other issues that she diagnosed. Very plesant, explains things. I’m not sure what others are complaining amount but I have nothing but positive interaction with Dr Kang.
Called to schedule an appointment with Dr Kang and the nurses said she was not seeing sick patients. Mind blowing a doctor who won’t see you cause you are under the weather. Told the nurses I took 2 at home covid test and they were both negative. Was told to go to urgent care. Pretty sure need some medicine for a sinus infection yet I can see my family doctor cause she as a doctor refuses to treat me. She shouldn’t practice if she won’t see people who are in need. Very disappointed and will file a complaint.
Needed to ask question, had to make appt. and she didn't like questions asked so wrote terrible notes about me.
I have had nothing but GREAT experiences with Dr. Kang. At 48 years old, I was having some stomach & bathroom issues and she referred me to a gastroenterologist. Long story short they found a HUGE tumor in my colon I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. I am alive today because Dr. Kang sent me to a specialist. I needed to see her to have medical clearance for a simple carpal tunnel surgery and she would not give me clearance. Instead, she told me that I needed to see a cardiologist before surgery, which was in like 2 business days. She also told me to go see an endocrinologist for a refill of my synthroid, which I have been taking the same exact dose for many years! Waste of my time. I believe she is all about the money. My free annual physical she charges me a co-pay if I ask her for a referral. Recently she sent me to an orthopedic and gave me 1 visit. I called her, less than 2 weeks later asking for another referral for more visits and she refused to do it over the phone, made me come in and charged me an office visit. Also saw how much pain I was in, my BP was elevated and she said there was nothing she could do for me, that I should go to ER if I’m hurting that bad.
Nothing but great experiences with Dr. Kang. My other doctor left the network so I decided to try Dr. Kang. She always takes the time to listen & I never feel rushed like I do with other doctors, always answers my questions. Besides addressing my immediate health problems she has always given additional suggestions about making lifestyle changes to improve my health (exercise, healthy eating, quitting smoking) without being negative or overbearing. Her positivity inspires me to make changes!
Had simple pre-surgery physical. She tried to send me to other doctors before she signed off on my physical. Explained I had no time prior to my already scheduled surgery & would do so later. She pressed the issue & I walked out before the physical was completed. The instant I left this short incomplete visit she was out of the picture. She had NO business telling the hospital SHE could NOT clear me for surgery!! Spent an hour with my next doctor. Curiously, he saw no problems. 1star unethical.
