Iv been to Urbana ER a couple times and this time was the worst . My 7 year old son was crying that his ear hurt . After a couple hours of Motrin it seemed to get worse . We took him to Urbana emergency at 1am . Empty parking lot and lobby . We sat in the lobby for over an hour with my son screaming in pain . Not one nurse or doctor checked on him ,no vitals or anything . The excuse we got is we are slammed . In fact I have a friend working there and found out later they were not . Ive been to this hospital over 10 times. Everytime I am dismissed for anxiety! The first time I went was for abdominal pain, they told me it was my gullbladder and sent me home. I had to go all the way to Marysville bc they wouldn't listen when I said I was hurting, it turned out to be my apendix! I had to get emergency surgery bc they refused to properly test me. Recently I went back in for abdominal pains and they sent me home saying my liver and pancreas enzymes were a little high, and to justbdrink fluids to control it. ... read more

Absolutely the worst hospital they would rather watch you die than actually take care of you. If you have someone you love do not take them to a Mercy Health ran hospital.
