The ER was able to fit me in Thursday night/Friday morning [EARLY AM] for a triple fracture caused by an assault that had occurred about 28 minutes prior to my arrival. They saw that I was puking (blood as well due to draining from my upper face down throat), part of my cheek was both fractured and was displaced (will require plastic surgery), and that I was dealing with a concussion. I went in on July 4th with the worst abdominal pain expecting the wait to be severely long. I went in and immediately got a room, my ultrasound was already ordered and ready, and I had some of the sweetest nurses and techs that made the entire experience flow. They figured out what I had going on and sent me home feeling much better then when I went in. Overall it was a very comfortable and quick experience, and I got the care I needed! Thank you trinity health team for saving my weekend.
Every time I have been here I felt like a burden. Staff sat around the desk talking and on their phones. 5 of them and 1 screening room open. Heard them complaining about hours and I thought it must be nice to laze about on your phone while the waiting room is full and you don't have to do anything. Been through that 5 times over 3 years and once you do get to see a doctor I got one that was mad at me for having a hernia well actually 2 at the time said I was wasting her time cause I had a mesh in already. The care is great and the staff are friendly. I was treated for an infection and was given excellent care.
