I went in thinking I had a normal appointment for a tetanus shot with Dr Landon who is a fabulous doctor. Little did I know it would turn into 40 minutes of the receptionist (Threshon) practically screaming at me that they no longer accept my insurance. She was unwilling to give my insurance company the time of day to explain that my insurance will cover the cost but needs to be billed differently. The receptionist did not want to hear any of it. The front desk lady was lovely and so kind and the NP that helped me initially was very kind. The last visit I had, I talked to a doctor about VERY bad menstrual cycles and was looking for answers. Labs were done and everything came back normal, so my issues were a bit pushed to the side. I gave it more time to see if things would get better and they didn’t. Although I like my doctor (Dr. Fitzgerald), the incompetency of this office has led me to make a post to try and warn any new patients from coming here. I have had continual issues with this office not coding my appointments correctly. These are obvious errors in coding, such as stating that my normal appointment scheduled around 2 months in advance is instead an Urgent Care appointment. This location is absolutely horrible. Multiple times lately I've been left in the office for an hour waiting after my appointment time, even arriving early yields no luck. - Over 5 doctors, only two worked with me, but they've since moved or retired. - The ones who stay do nothing but push the next prescription which doesn't target what you are there for. - They always say try another doctor, I didn't know they meant a completely different place of business. That's what I recommend. Don't settle because they're close by!!
