I called to schedule a hospital follow up appointment because my PCP's office is closed this week. I apparently talked to the wrong person (she only sits maybe 10' away from who I guess I needed to talk to). She told me the walk-in clinic does not take appointments, that I needed to just walk in and I would be seen. When I arrived, there was one person ahead of me, and we arrived at the same time. I've always had a good experience here, up till yesterday. Just forewarning, if you have ANY symptoms that may be heart attack related, they will turn you away and tell you to go to the ER- which is not my issue. My issue was that they did not even offer to take my vitals or call me an ambulance or anything. I had my kid with me and the receptionist literally said "sounds like a heart attack, you need to go to the ER. I know you've got the little one with you, so I'm sorry about that, but you need to figure out a way to go."... read more
