Literally the worst emergency room in the area. I would rather drive outside of Lorain than go here. Every single time I end up in the ER here I end up sitting for hours and hours. I understand that they’re busy but letting someone who was in a serious car accident, with hip and neck pain, sit in a waiting room for almost 2 hours is a bit absurd. Honestly just save yourself the trouble and go to EMH or Cleveland Clinic.
I was amazed that a small hospital could have it all together. Between their exceptional surgical staff, and all of their other employees, it was very clear to both me and my husband that everyone we encountered was happy to be working at Mercy Health.
