As an ER patient received good care, however, the information entered regarding my exam was inaccurate on many levels. A highly incorrect weight was entered, from a physical done years ago. This inaccurate weight was provided to the surgeon and anesthesiologist who were to do the surgery I needed. I I had not caught the error myself, I could have received way too much anesthesia. HORRIBLE communications had stitches and was told to come back in a week to remove no need for appointment. came back said walk ins were about an hour 1 hour and 45 minutes later was told were were next then they took two other patients and we were still sitting. should not have had to wait that long for a simple procedure, and should have been told at the first visit to make an appointment. be using a different organization if the need ever arises

Preformed both my husband and my shoulder surgeries. He was also the only one that explained to me how it was possible that my arms weren't in place but could use them as if they were. The previous doctor only scratched his head and said he didn't know how it was possible and had never seen it before. He was a seasoned surgeon. Our surgeries went well, kept us comfortable and we aced therapy at according to them, an amazing rate. Minimal scaring 2yrs later. Unless you look close, you cannot see them. Dr Shivers seriously doesnt even deserve a 1 star review. My step son was scheduled for his 7th grade shots (tDap and Meningococcal) on Thursday 10/3/19 we went to his appointment. First we sat in the waiting room for an hour, then once we were taken back to a room the dr rushed through an exam in 5 mins or less,he didnt even ask many questions about his health but instead decided to question him about his grades and then say that his A's and B's could be better. My husband and myself have been to Mercy a number of times for health care and on emergency situations over the last 11 years. We have NEVER experienced one rude staff member or inefficient doctor or nurse practitioner. In all the 11 years we have been going for test, treatments, and surgery, we have had the Best care from kind and caring staff and doctors. We have much respect and praise for Mercy. Thank you all so much for extraordinary care.

I recently spent a week in the CVU at Mercy West. If there is a way to describe a hospital stay as "pleasant " it would be this one. The care I received was excellent. My nurses Grace, Kathleen, Teri, Ruth, Molly and Tricia & others were beyond excellent as well as the ER nurse Noel on a very busy,crowded night. Thank you, I won't forget your professionalism & caring. Sandy Glover
