April 2nd-6th 2023: Worst place I’ve ever been to. 2 phones from ancient history that everybody has to share. Black mold and pubic hairs in the public showers everybody on the floor has to use. The nurse Christina was arguing with me about me not getting my Effexor (I was having withdrawals), and I ended up in tears, gave me dirty looks the rest of her shift. The psych ward is predominantly run by nurses who are not trained in mental health. Most nurses were so desensitized that they treated us like we were an annoyance. Some of them cared, but the majority of them didn’t. The hospitalists are a literal joke - they only ask if you’re sleeping, eating and drinking and, after those 30 seconds, they’re done with you.
