This is a horrible place! Don't let loved ones go here! The whole staff lie constantly about care and cover themselves and each other. Terrible hygiene for patients, the staff are only there for a paycheck. They will ruin anything they can for someone to get real help. I don’t know why people complain about this place. If they only knew what kind of places they had back then for people like us I think they would change their mind. I think the staff is wonderful both my kids have been there. They both made it through and thought it was an experience that they had to go through, but they’ve learned through it and grew through it. April 2nd-6th 2023: Worst place I’ve ever been to. 2 phones from ancient history that everybody has to share. Black mold and pubic hairs in the public showers everybody on the floor has to use. The nurse Christina was arguing with me about me not getting my Effexor (I was having withdrawals), and I ended up in tears, gave me dirty looks the rest of her shift. The psych ward is predominantly run by nurses who are not trained in mental health. Most nurses were so desensitized that they treated us like we were an annoyance. Some of them cared, but the majority of them didn’t. The hospitalists are a literal joke - they only ask if you’re sleeping, eating and drinking and, after those 30 seconds, they’re done with you.
