Sole provider informed the provider of what has happened historically with me with this issue. And she decided that my medical history was relevant and she was going to go a whole different route which is proven not to work for me. What a waste of time and money.

I will never be going to Mercy Family Practice in Kalona again. I do not leave these reviews lightly. However, I feel like people need to know how little they care about their patients. I called in to have my blood pressure checked because I had just had a baby and something seemed off. I didn’t want to drive all the way to my doctors office in Coralville if that could be avoided as I had a baby that was less then a week old. Updated 6/14/18 There's a new Doctor and it made the difference of night and day between my latest visit and the ones mentioned previously in my review..! Upgraded from 1 to 3 stars.. Been here multiple times in the last 4-5 years (because they are the only clinic in Kalona).. never a satisfactory experience. Long waits; my first visit, the doctor made derogatory remarks about the Amish/Mennonite community (Hello! You're in an Amish community!)
