I had an extremely disappointing experience at Mercy Eye Care involving repeated errors with my daughter’s glasses. What should have been a simple visit turned into more than three months, eight trips to the office, and multiple interruptions to her school day. The prescription was entered incorrectly, the lenses were made wrong multiple times, and even after assurances that everything would be triple-checked, the glasses were still incorrect. good place for getting glasses and the people are nice, but they’re a bunch of clock milkers. Had one person conveniently make me wait to put in an order for new glasses until 15 minutes until they closed after I already had my stuff picked out and then I was put on hold for 20 minutes while waiting for them to look for my glasses that I ordered. I also never received a text about my glasses I ordered coming in the mail. This is a nice place, but they love taking their time and keeping paying customers waiting.
After several mistakes made by the employees over a very uncomfortable 30 day period, my son still doesn't have his glasses. My money was refunded and we will never come back.
It's hit or miss with the frame selection. Last year, there were several appealing options; this year, just one. They're very busy and it's not unusual to wait for 30+ minutes to be helped. When I was here a few weeks ago, someone complained about the wait and the employee said, 'What else are you going to do? If you need glasses, you have to wait.'
