Wish I could give it a zero. I worked for Mercy NWA for a long time so I know Mercys standards and this location misses every one of them. Got here via ambulance with extremely high bp at 1130 am got second vitals done at 430 (totally missing the two hour mark) and taken to a room bc pressure was still high seen a Dr Gammon immediately and he was amazing still have yet to see one single member of the nursing staff and it is now 9pm and I am still waiting….. I want to preface this review by stating that I understand that situations arise leading to increased waiting times in the ER. While the nurses and staff were amazing and kind my husband and I waited for ~7-8 hours for my initial complaint of severe abdominal pain and vomiting. If I could leave no stars I would. My dr sent me in with a gallbladder attack and even called and asked that I get a CT scan. I arrived at 5 pm. I finally left around 11:30 pm. When I arrived my BP was dangerously high. They did bloodwork and that was it. My final straw was when a mouse scurried across the floor. There was over 100 people in the waiting room. I Went into the Mercy Hospital Friday 27th about midnight with an unbearable stomach ache starting to throw up and having terrible back pain. I told the triage Nurse I needed help that I couldn’t take the pain I was experiencing. They sent me out to the waiting room I looked up my wait time and it said two and half hours.
