Went to the ER had broken jaw and cut under chin due to a fall. Dr. keddy falsely accused me of being a drug seeker and did not provide pain management for me. I am prescribed a strong muscle relaxer as well as a low dose benzo for multiple medical conditions, once he saw those meds in my chart he judged. I was in excruciating pain crying and eventually begging for something to help with the pain. I was there in severe pain for 7hrs. This is my first experience using the Emergency Department at Mercy Jefferson. It was an incredibly mixed experience, but it gets the 4th star specifically because of Nurse Practitioner K Beaver. The front desk was terrible. I don't think she was ever taught how to smile or be kind. The gentleman who did the triage was nice, but still didn't help to be any comfort. What changed in 2 years? Your hospital used to be highly rated and regarded. Now it’s poorly reviewed. Your ER staff is deplorable. God is not there in your values or your mission. I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life at a mercy hospital. I was in ER 8 hours. When I was finally taken back I was stuck in a hallway without my own curtain or a call light. I was not checked on or offered anything not even a blanket. I had the rudest nurse and NP. I was sent over by urgent care to get an MRI, they refused me an MRI. I was... read more

I went in for dehydration and 104!fevers and shortness of breath . For over a week When after 2 hours I was able to get seen they told me I had the flu it sucks and it go home and rest they did a chest x ray that they never spoke to me about the results of and refused fluids entirely after 4 days of high fevers vomiting and and deliriousness I went somewhere else to get checked and have a sever pneumonia so if you want someone to pay attention never ever go here.
