When I first saw Dr. Kowalski, my BP was pretty high. He walked into the room and told me it was high from eating too much salt. He never asked me about my diet. I asked if it was the right med for me, being I have celiac disease. He said yes I prescribe hydrochlorothiazide to all women with high BP. I took the med. A few months later he repeated my blood work. It showed my potassium was too low and my calcium was too high. I asked him what I should do, he said it was fine and not to worry about it. Let me start with saying dr Augustine’s staff are amazing. Very kind hearted people Eric and Mara do a great job. However, I can’t say the same thing about Dr augstine himself. Blatantly disrespectful and treats people with mental health issues very poorly. Your doctor should not be causing you stress, bur he is a very belligerent person. When I went in for one of my first visits he asked me if I peed in a cup what would be in my system, like he was accusing me of drinking or smoking! How rude. Scheduled the appointment and after 15 days canceled without any reason and not received call there is not any option this is 2nd time mercy health care , 3 rd time horrible experience,,, patient be care carefully before to choose mercy health care.
