I was referred to this Mercy Urgent Care by our pediatrician when I couldn’t get into their office. This was my first visit. I scheduled the appointment hours in advance and submitted my insurance information ahead of time. I have valid insurance. There was nothing wrong with my coverage. The issue, as best as I could gather, was that the specific plan name on my card did not perfectly align with how plans are labeled in their system. Dr. King is a very compassionate and professional doctor. Best doctor a woman could ask for! He listens and cares for all of his patients. It truly is like a family when I come to see him! SO grateful he is "family medicine". My kids see him as well as my in laws. He has saved so many lives.
Absolutely unprofessional system. You make an appointment wait several weeks. They send you a confirmation text and email you confirm it with their system. Then you show up for an appointment and it's cancelled. No call, text, voicemail
Megan FNP is superb, she is very thorough, caring, informative and knowledgeable. She makes you feel very much at ease. Like you are talking to a friend. I recommend her highly.
