My family's been going to Mercy since 1990. I wouldn't want to change a thing, and, I'm thankful they help take care of our family.
I am doing this review because I just left the Intensive Care Unit where my mom is. She has been seen two or three times within the past couple weeks by a nurse practitioner, actually two. She was told she did not have pneumonia. They never did blood work. They told her that she had thrush and started her on medication and when she returned was told she was allergic to that medication and was started on a different one. Thank You Dr. Coffey I found you to be an excellent Doctor. Very Caring and Compassionate. You Read My Every Message And Gave Me Referrals As Per My Need And Request. My Heart is Broken that You Believed A lie. I am not a physically aggressive person at all. I am physically and Mentally bruised battered and shattered by the fact that your Staff lied to you about my behavior while you were gone with the flu. I guess they don't want to write my FMLA. We love the care we've received from Dr. Nathaniel Barbe and several of the nurse practitioners. Although we sometimes have to wait a bit it's worth it because the appointments are so thorough and never rushed.
Twice now, I have called ahead of time, before I drag my very sick children to the doctor’s office, to make sure they would see us. The first time, they told me to be there before 3 and they would see us. I got there at 2 and was told that the provider was leaving for the day and they couldn’t see us. Today, they told me to be there between 8-10 and they would see us, and I got there at 9:30 and was told they only see established patients, which I specifically asked about on the phone before we left our house.
