I had to beg and grovel for care. My symptoms went so unmanaged that I did not want to exist. Instead of looking at autoimmune disorders first, I have expansive imaginary done Instead. I am now traveling over 4 hours now for care. It took both the breast surgeon there 1 appointment ad well as my new pcp to say I need to go to rheumatoid doctor. If I could give this clinic 0 stars I would. I’ve been going to this clinic for half of my life and I am leaving Mercy all together after my gastroenterologist appointments are finished. I’ve been trying to do a study for a health issue that another Dr told me to have addressed with my pcp, it’s been since the end of March and I’m still waiting for the correct equipment after already doing the study once with the wrong equipment and Quest not being able to test it. waited thirty minutes past appointment time
This place is a hidden gem in a very small town. April hale is the best NP I've ever had. I've been seeing her for about half a year and she has always been attentive and listens to my concerns and acts thoroughly. When I came in with really strange symptoms she quickly mentioned it could be alpha gal and tested me. Eventually leading to a positive diagnosis. Which saved me from going into anaphylactic shock without an epi pen. I thankfully have an EpiPen for it now which is life saving! Who knows how long it would've taken ... read more
Where do I begin. The most important one. My daughter was told that she had ibs, when she should have been tested for endometriosis! This is something you are born with and as a young girl will display digestive issues, once they have their menstrual cycle they need to be tested for endometriosis. Because my daughters went undiagnosed, a cyst burst inside of her causing it to lacerate her spleen. The endometriosis is not only in her uterus, but spread to her tubes, bladder, ovaries and heart.
