What an amazing experience. The midwives are knowledgeable and helpful and allowed me to make decisions involving my care and the care of my baby while providing supportive non-invasive options. I had a wonderful birth experience from the first appointment to checking out with a newborn.
I went with Mercy Birthing Center to have my first baby, despite it being 2hrs from my home, and it’s the best decision I could have made. Every single staff member is phenomenal from the midwives to the receptionist’s. The midwives are all very knowledgeable and happy to answer all your questions, they are great at providing you with all the information but respecting the decision you choose to make with out the push back I’ve experienced at other OB offices. Such a great experience with Mercy birthing center and all the midwives. The large was so comfortable during labor, and the support from Jessica and my labor and delivery nurses was amazing.
If I could give 5 stars to Erin and Jessica, as well as the front desk lady I absolutely would! They are truly amazing, empathetic, connect to you, and it is always a great experience with easy communication with all of them. Unfortunately, the birthing center is like gambling with which midwife you will get at each appointment and who knows who it will be for when you go into labor. The midwives and staff are all amazing & have helped me so much throughout pregnancy, labor and postpartum. They are compassionate & caring. I’m so thankful for the birthing center & will definitely come back if I have more babies! The front desk staff is amazing especially Catherine. Midwives Talia & Maria were amazing during my labor/birth experience. They made me feel supported and encouraged through a very challenging labor. Nurses Braelyn and Avery were incredible too!
