I bought a set of Michelin tires in December of 2018. I also purchase a warranty and am thankful I did because within a few week I had to go back in for a repair. That repair lasted until this weekend when I noticed my tire pressure was low. I made an appointment for 8:am on Monday (today). So there is a man here at Merchant's Tire staring me straight in my face! I asked how much they would charge to take my flat tire off and put my spare on. He said if there was a man here to do it for you it would be $20... seriously? Tread Quarters was eager to help and there was no charge!
Brought my 2005 Escape in this past Saturday. Engine was knocking and sputtering. The mechanic, John, worked on it for a couple hours and it turns out it's a problem that can only be fixed by the dealer because of the engine computer parts. John did his best to fix it but the computer part made it impossible. They didn't charge me for all the hours of labor, just for the diagnostic. John then gave me print outs and info to bring to dealer so I don't get ripped off there, which usually happens. He was honest, knowledgeable, a... read more
The knowledge of sales staff is limited to none. The attitude of the techs is poor. I called before I came in and was told 45 minutes. I am currently still here and waiting. The bitched about my work truck having a tool box with "to much weight" to so an oil change just to try and get out of doing it. Not true at all. No different than doing a larger style truck, for real. It's been over 2.5 hours and still have tire to change too.
