My family has been seeing Dr. Ryan Tam at Dr. Goichi Shiotsu’s office on the north end of Mercer Island for nearly 6 years. We’ve had a variety of dental needs and so happy to work with their office and staff. I fully recommend for your family. We initially went there from a friend’s referral and are glad we did.
Dr Ryan Tam is the best dentist ever. He cares about his patients and how they feel throughout the treatment. He also asks for feedback at the end of it so he can continue learning and improving. I have such a low pain tolerance. But when Dr Ryan does my anesthetic needles he makes sure you’re comfortable as possible and he’s also really good at giving the shots; they don’t really hurt when he does it. My review is for Dr Tam. I cannot explain the fear/anxiety/stress I have regarding going to the dentist. I shake and cry, and I am just generally terrified and overwhelmed. I started seeing Dr Tam and needed a pretty substantial amount of work done over several appointments. Not only did he make me feel comfortable and relaxed, he talked me through everything, he gave me clear understanding of what was happening, and allowed me to take breaks when I needed.
