We loved our apartment. The two bedroom one bathroom layout is spacious with a wonderful large bathroom (with separated vanities which made it very appealing). The maintenance crew was amazing, they were always willing to help. The only downfalls I experienced were 1.) being on the first floor and hearing EVERYTHING the people above and to the side of me were doing (children, animals, cooking, music etc). Up until a couple of evenings ago the only issue with this place was poor management and false promises. Unfortunately this past Sunday Mercer Square got a lot worse. A neighbor knocked on another neighbor's door and assaulted my neighbor's guest who happened to answer his door with not more than a few words about loud music (of which the rest of neighbors didn't and don't ever hear). The "electric" company, which is forced on you, is a joke and should be illegal. The tenants don't clean up after their dogs, even with dog stations and free bags around the property. The mailman simply sucks. The change of ownership made the experience much worse. I decided to move after 4 months.
