They don’t even deserve one star! The service department at Mercedes-Benz of Fredericksburg is truly disappointing. Dishonesty in Service SERVICE ADVISOR (Steve) displayed dishonest behavior throughout the process. Misrepresentation of work performed and parts used. Unnecessary Charges Customer was charged for parts that were not installed or used. Inflated billing for services that were not required. My cousin recently had work done on her Mercedes and the results were underperformed. I live all the way in Fort Worth, TX and all she talked about was getting her dream car and to have people who are "allegedly" professionals claim to get the job done, is disgusting. The amount of financial trauma this has caused her and her family is heartbreaking. Do better, and from reading some previous reviews, it seems like customers of a certain skin color seem to be treated as if they are stupid or undeserving of a luxury vehicle.
I am extremely disappointed with the dishonesty and inflated repair estimates from this dealership’s service department. I’ve been an automotive technician for over 20 years, so I know exactly what to look for when repairs are performed. After my recent service visit, I was quoted nearly $1,000 for bolts, clamps, gaskets, and related hardware that were supposedly replaced. I’m very disappointed with the service my mother recently received at Mercedes. She has always spoken very highly of this location and trusted them with her car for years, which makes this experience even more upsetting. She brought her vehicle in specifically for an engine light issue, expecting it to be properly diagnosed and fixed. After having my car for just 6 years, my spouse having his for 3 years, Mercedes-Benz is terminating all mbrace connectivity for 2018 and older models, with no alternative solution and refusing to stand by their product.
