We had leased three different ******** from the dealership over the past ten years and decided to go in another direction. We were told by our salesman *** *********, as well as the salesman that accepted the car,(*** was on vacation) that if our car was purchased by the dealership the $595 return fee would be waved. Sorry to report this scam but would avoid this service center at all costs. They attempted to scam my 75 yr old mother. She brought her car in for service. At first they wanted thousands then when she said she only wants an oil change they said $600, she said no, settled on $390. Halfway through the service they said they filled the car with oil but found severe leak! Severe! And it would be $370 alone just to diagnose. I told her to pick up the car. We initially quoted an A service as recommended by ************** Stand alone oil changes are not something we perform unless as an exception. The pricing we quoted and that was agreed upon was for a ************* trained technician to perform the service with genuine ************* parts. After speaking with Service the price of labor went from $210 an hour up to $380 an hour I got priced for labor on for rotors for pads $2000 and $600 for an oil change every other ************* dealership in the ******************* is $212 an hour labor not sure where Mercedes-Benz of Caldwell comes off charging everyone double ! Without any explanation
