Im curious how in 3 years, the price of a discontinued key fob increases from $300, to over $450. If I were to guess, it's greed under the guise of inflation 👌 much thanks with refusing to help set up a third party key, or giving any direction other than fork over $450. I regret to say that my experience with the Mercedes-Benz service department in Bend, Oregon, has been nothing short of frustrating. Over the course of three separate visits between November 2024 and January 2025, I was repeatedly assured that my vehicle’s issue—a persistent leak—was fixed, only to find the problem continuing each time I brought the car home. I was up at Mt Bachelor and my Sprinter wouldn’t start. I’d troubleshooted the obvious issues (dead battery, blown starter fuse) and wasn’t able to figure it out. Nicole and Hector talked me through the fix on the phone and stayed on with me until my engine was up and running. They went above and beyond and I cannot recommend the service center here more highly as a result. 6 stars
I have a 2024 new sprinter van. Love it, however, on our first big road trip the van left us stranded in Bend Oregon due to a factory pitched wiring harness. Under the circumstances I feel I was treated very well by this dealership. Mike and Nicole in service went out of their way and took the situation seriously in order to get me back on the road as soon as possible. Technician Hector willingly stayed late and came in early.
