Took my family here for my mother in-law’s birthday last night and everything about the experience was hands down perfect. We enjoyed our shared dining experience and our server Bre took amazing care of us! My father in-law was particularly impressed with the wine selection and the knowledge about the wine provided by their Sommelier. We had to have the cabbage twice because it was so good! & Mercantile’s award winning tres leches cake was also a family favorite. Can’t wait to go back!
I recently had the pleasure of treating myself to a lovely meal at Mercantile. I enjoy sitting at the bar most place I go, that day was like dinner and a show. The beautiful kitchen was right next to my seat, I loved watching the staff meticulously engaged in their creations. Fantastic! A bit "vanilla" for a Chef run restaurant... clearly more about feeding the wealthy daily, rather than inspired food. Still delicious 😋 but we can have better for the same $$$ at other places.
Showed up on time for my 8:45 reservation, waited 10 minutes at the empty host station had no staff member approached me to assist and left. Wound up eating at Ultreia which is always a solid choice.
Had a remarkable experience at the newly re-opened Mercantile. First off, the space is beautiful. They have done an amazing job keeping the character of the Mercantile I remember while making it feel new and re-imagined. The food is exceptional, maybe some of the best in Denver and the service was great. Friendly, thoughtful and with the lightest touch but still ever present. Excited to come back and see how they continue to evolve.
